Cupping - Cupping is used to treat pain, ease scar tissue deep within muscles and connective tissues, reduce swelling and muscle knots. Cupping can also minimize circulating toxins by drawing them into the skin where they are more easily removed.
Hot Stone Massage – Hot (but not overly so) stones are used with steady pressure to warm muscles, tendons and ligaments, which can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation.
Hot stone massage and Cupping have been proven as safe and effective in treating a litany of conditions, including pain associated with fibromyalgia, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and other chronic musculoskeletal conditions, pain and tension resulting from strained muscles, muscle spasms and chronic stress, while increasing joint flexibility.
Paraffin Treatments –Paraffin wax has been shown to treat conditions like arthritis and fibromyalgia among others. A wax treatment acts as a type of heat therapy, that helps treat these conditions by increasing blood flow, relaxing muscles and reducing stiffness in joints. This treatment is available for hands and/or feet.
Thai herbal compresses - Thai herbal compress therapy has been used for nearly 5000 years to soothe muscle aches and reduce swelling. It does this through the use of a selection of therapeutic herbs which are bundled together, wrapped into a handmade compress and then steamed and applied to the body. The hot compresses are highly effective for alleviating pain, aches and arthritis and provide an alternative option for people who would rather not rely on over-the-counter pain medication. The blend of herbs used in the warm compresses not only help with aches and pains in the body but also have a relaxing effect on the mind and provide you with a positive boost in energy.
Please Note: Cupping and Hot Stone Massage or Thai Herbal Compresses cannot be offered in the same session.
